When NARO was in Washington this Spring,  to lobby against bad things in the Cap and Trade scheme legislation,  it was reported that the legislative aides thought royalty owners ought to be glad they&#039;ve reaped benefits in the past,  and that going forward it may be the right thing to do to have all royalties be the gov&#039;ts !!   

You won&#039;t hear a Congressman say that in public,  but obviously someone or some group has put that idea in their brain !   Watch out.
